The “Rotocar” is used for the internal lines cleaning whereas the “Prevenmaster” is used for the internal cleaning of the heat exchanger pipes. That allows descaling hard materials in total safety, avoiding the exchanger disassemble and transport to the washing area for traditional cleaning.
We can track Pigs using a pressure recorder and transmitter, in order to identify any problematic area quickly. The Stud Pigging System cleans the heaters and 180 ° curves. During an heather cleaning, it is possible to carry out maintenance works, thanks to a completely safety system
Each machine pump is equipped with two pumps, that, to perform the simulta- neous descaling of two vaulted coils, are connected to the inlet and outlet of each of them.
During water circulation, the pressures and flows existing inside the coils are detected using instruments that graphically define the profile.
The first phase consists in the introduction of a plastic pig (a measure pig) inside the coil that, covering its entire length, detects the minimum diameter by identifying the area in which there is a greater deposit of coke.
In a second phase, the pigs are inserted. These, being composed of deformable material and equipped with appropriate abrasive heads, are able to cover both curves and heads coils. This feature allows the coke that covers the walls to be removed with a bidirectional movement.
The materials removed during the operation are recovered by the filtration system of the pumping unit, and afterwards, they are drained.
At the end of the operations, a final check is carried out through the “only water” circulation in order to generate a second graph of the flow rates and pressures to be compared with the graph recorded in the first phase of operations.
